Dependent CoverageEach year, we send companies a list of employee(s) whose dependent children have or will reach age 19 by the last day of the year, or are currently classified as students As an additional service, each February we will mail you a list of employee(s) who may be eligible to change their coverage from family to individual because the student, or 19-year-year old appears to be the only dependent. We will be asking you to review the list of names and confirm the status change(s). Once we have your authorization, we'll proceed with the status change. Please Note: All changes must be received by April 1 to be retroactive to January 1. Changes received after April 1 will receive our standard retroactive policy of 30 days.
