Looking for an out-of-state dentist?
You are free to go to any out-of-state dentist. However, we suggest visiting an out-of-state dentist who participates with a local Delta Dental plan. Your insurance plan will pay what we would have paid a Rhode Island participating dentist. You will be responsible for the difference between our payment and the local Delta Dental plan’s maximum allowable charge. If the dentist you choose does not belong to a Delta Dental plan, your out-of-pocket costs will usually be higher.
