Beginning January 1, 2014, under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), pediatric dental benefits must be included in health plans for small businesses* as part of 10 Essential Health Benefits (EHB). The good news is that you can satisfy this requirement with a plan from Delta Dental.
All of our small business dental insurance plans have been modified to include the pediatric dental health benefit. If you are an existing customer, we will modify your dental coverage to incorporate the pediatric dental health benefit at renewal time.
